Alternative

PaidContent lists an intriguing job: Editor-in-chief of VillageVoice.com. In many ways, the alternative press has been even more affected by the internet than the fuddy-duddy press, with classifieds and personals and the counterculture and youth all moving online. And the site looks about as exciting as any newspaper site. A challenge. I’d let the public take over the site and then go one step further and turn it into a distributed, ad-supported network of New York blogs (wouldn’t it be great to have an aggregation of New Yorkers’ restaurant reviews?). What would you do?
