History lessons: Thom Hartman at Common Dreams thinks he’s being clever drawing a picture of George Bush to make him look like Adolf Hitler. I can’t wait until his next chapter when he compares Saddam Hussein to… who, Thom?
Well, considering the near-fascist-like mentality of Ashcroft, it’s not surprising.
Saddam=Iosef Stalin, which seems to be lost on far too many unknowledgable Right-leaning folks (not saying that you’re that way, Jeff — you’ve just bought the party line, is all).
Maybe he’ll compare him to George Washington, like Marcy Kaptur did.
I’ve got a good one Jeffrey! of Howard (the Australian Prime Minister) as the creature Gollum, looking for his precious … that’s Bush.
I’ll send it to you.

In the end, Gollum saves the day and the free people by grabbing the ring and falling into the volcano(Mt Doom). So, you are saying the good guys will win in the end. Great to know you are on our side.
PS are they still selling copies of the female sooccer team and how can I get one.
Drinking in your general direction, Ice cold Fosters.
Hi Danjo. I could argue that Gollum was the ‘dark’ side of the creature and was in control when he got the ring, and in his rejoicing stepped back and fell over the edge. Definately unintentional. I think you need to look at what his actual intentions were. None good I would have to say. Maybe you could argue that in relation to the picture I have (Gollum (come Howard) in the Dead Marshes), it’s actually Smeagol and not Gollum, as he is doing good but I don’t think we want to go down that path. At the end of the day, it’s really all just for a laugh.
Hey, I’m always on the side of good, fair and honest (and maybe those with beers).
To other matters. You mean the Matildas? I had a quick look but I think you’d be a lucky bastard to get the calendar. But here’s a link to a website with the photos (http://www.yourmail.com.au/matildasfan/page1.htm) and even better a link to Amy Taylor’s website! (http://www.amytaylor.com.au). Whoo Hoo!
As for the beers, personally, I like the ones from Tasmania (the island state). Boags Premium (was able to get this from a supermarket in Hong Kong!) and Cascade Pale Ale. But hell, if someone puts ‘any’ beer in front of me I’ll drink it! Anyway, sorry I digress.
Anyway, Cheers Big Ears.
Dearest Beer Bloke:
Thanks for the recs. Have a beer fanactic here who can get his hands on most beers, so will try.
I once seen a course offered at my alma mater,
“Tolkiens Lord of the Rings: A Comparision of Military Capitalism vs Agricultural Society.
(Western democracy vs Communism).
Talk about too much free time on your hands.

Goodluck with the beers Danjo! Hope you enjoy if you get the chance.
Sorry folks (Jeff) for moving away from the war there. But it’s healthy to do so once in a while.
