Yikes… any good follower of happenings in Mt. Pilot would know that it is “Goober” and not the phonetic “Guber”.
“Suprise, suprise, suprise” was spoken by “Gomer” to Sgt. Carter.
Tina Brown’s show really was awful and fully deserved to get cancelled. Now let’s hope the spring cleaning continues and Dennis Miller’s carwreck of a show is also booted, sparing us and saving him from further embarrassment.
why oh why do producers give people like Tina Brown (see Jim McEnroe) talk shows when it is obvious to everyone that taking 3 doses of valium would keep the audience more awake than watching these snooze-fests.
The show was always structured as an insider’s show except, by definition, there are very very few insiders in any sphere of human action. No wonder no one watched.
She’s a big important media type, right? Why would we watch someone like that?
Good riddance. Hope Franky is right: next goes Dennis Miller.
And yet it has fallen.
You have answered the age-old connundrum, Jeff.
Who? What?
At least she’s still married to that senator who ran for president. Or wait, no, that’s somebody else, she’s starting that celebrity blog. No wait, that’s not her either. Who the hell she is? Didn’t she play Ginger on Gilligan’s Island?
Here, here Bret.
And this punk think’s he wants to run TV for us?
Sheesh.
What’s next:
Marta Brady?
The Foonz?
The Courtship of Teddy’s Father?
I say we rename this blog Butz Machine.
