Spreading the RSS gospel

Spreading the RSS gospel

: Just got around to reading Heather Green’s very good explanation of RSS in Business Week.

I use the Opera web browser and it has a RSS reader built into the email client and I love it. I only regret that it took me so long to try using it. There is a downside though, it’s addicting and can be overwhelming in the volume of information it brings you. If you let it, it will keep you from getting anything done, or maybe that’s just me. :P

Any chance you can make your rss a little more useful? I’m thinking specifically of replacing the datestamps with the post title. Current format reduces the utility of the rss feed: alphanumerics are less memorable than language and readers still have to visit to see if they’re interested in an update. I assume it’s an artefact of the blogging tool, Warren Ellis’ diepunyhumans feed has the same issues.
