On TV

On TV

: I’ll be on CNBC’s Capitol Report tonight at 7 pm ET. Yes, this is getting to be frequent and that’s fun. We’re talking about stories that distract during this campaign. Man, we could do an hour on that. But that would be distracting.

: Just got out of the taping. I got into a confrontation with a media mudman. “Hooey,” that’s the word of the night.

: Back blogging later; headed to a church meeting (yes, they let me in) and then to the couch.

Thanks for doing what you do. I hope your tv show goes well.
I was in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969, attached to Coastal Division Eleven. I was on a PCF (swift boat) in Cambodia in December 1968, and I was wounded on the Bai Hap River in January 1969.
I met John Kerry in An Thoi. Though it is unlikely that he remembers me, I do remember him. and I support his candidacy for president.
Please take a look at http://www.swiftvets4kerry.org for more information, and pass the link along.
Let us not talk falsely now. The hour is getting late.

Watching your (taped) segment now, which is the first time I’ve been at the computer by the TV and thought to visit your site, though I’ve seen you here before. I’ll be back more now; thanks for the site and the counter-hooey :)

    Jim,
Spamming a sight I frequent makes me less likely to vote for your candidate. Just thought you might want to know that.

Yes, I saw it. Didn’t even know you were going to be on, but happened to be watching CNBC and there you were. I like how the woman said “and let’s give Jeff Jarvis the last word,” and of course one of the other two still tries to talk over you at the end. Anyway, you got what you wanted to say in and it was a compelling point.
