New media and more new media

New media and more new media

: Watching Tim Russert on CNBC now. He and his guests are acknowledging the power of blog, saying all the things we all have been saying for a year now. And then he says the only major interviews Kerry has given in recent weeks have been to Jon Stewart, Don Imus, and on Monday, David Letterman. Big Media not so big anymore.

You left out Dr. Phil. The show was taped today in Boston.
For a man who promised monthly press conferences, if elected, and who wanted weekly debates with the President, there sure is a lot of silence.
Anger ain’t enough. Negative alone ain’t enough.
Bush is not reprehensible enough to be the sole subject of the campaign.
“Stick a fork in it. I think it’s done”
    PS Glad you’re feeling better

Andy, when was the last time Bush answered questions from the media? Well over a month ago. So why is it worse for Kerry to avoid the media than it is for Bush to do it? I think the only campaign that is done, is Bush’s. It has become increasingly shriller by the day and is focusing on nonsensical minutiae more and more. By October the chant from the right will be about how Kerry’s choice of tie colour reflects badly on his ability to be president.
