Sometimes blogs remind me of cell phones: people use them just to call and make contact and update others about where they are at that moment – no real information is exchanged….a real waste of the technology [sigh]

So who named you God of the Minutes, Mr. Efficiency?

If anything is a waste of technology, Mikey-boy, I’d say it’s your need to use it to snipe. It’s my bandwidth, it’s my software license, it’s my access, what’s it to you? I do, in fact, post every day and it is accepted blog etiquette to let readers know when you’re not going to post for awhile so they don’t waste their time checking to see whether there’s anything new. I’m sorry this upsets you. Well, actually, no I’m not. Be upset. What do I care?

Jeff – I wasn’t sniping, just making an observation how the use of cellphones has shifted from information-exchange to casual contact, and noting parallels in blogs. No need to get your feathers ruffled so…

So why did you put that “[sigh]” after your comment if it was only a neutral “observation”?

Because I think it’s unfortunate, Andrea. Lamenting something doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re sniping those who engage in it.
