I just went to Atrios’ page…I’ve heard about him, but never went before.
Judging by the comments about Clinton’s speech, I won’t be going back. Too many commenters wished they were the ones wearing the Presidential kneepads instead of Monica.
Sorry, I just don’t get the Clinton appeal.

Atrios kicks ass, takes names and has one of the best blogs out there.

Ha. About time he put his money where his mouth is. For months he denigrated any and all Iraq war supporters as chickenhawks while hiding behind a pseudonymn, apparently fearful of Luskins of mass destruction or what not.

It’s an anti-climax only if one had any expectations to begin with.

Good comparison. To compare the proponents of military policy in which a staggerlingly high number saw no military action (with many conniving to do so) with a blogger who wants to keep his job, so doesn’t reveal his name.

I knew the man behind the curtain was no slouch. Lots o’cred. Sounds like a smarty jones to me. The big reveal will only bring in more readers. Stick a fork in Insty. He’s done. There is a new professor in town.
Duncan B. Black (Hmm? Funny, he sure looks like a whitey in the photo.–heh!) holds a PhD in economics from Brown University. He has held teaching and research positions at the London School of Economics; the Universit

He’s smart, witty, got a huge buzz about him, a big audience and is photogenic. I assume that just as with Wonkette, you’re going to be telling all the TV shows that they should pick this guy up.

He applied the term to anyone, (bloggers, for example) who supported going to war without volunteering to fight, not just those who allegedly “connived” to get out of being sent over. It’s the height of hypocrisy to call for others to put their lives on the line when he won’t even put his job on the line. Of course, being a prof. at Bryn Mawr, I seriously doubt that his blogging would have cost him his job. No doubt his political leanings would have had legions of undergrads “donning the kneepads”

Considering Wonkette’s favorite subject, he should be careful not to pickup any quarters around her. ;)

From what I can tell, Atrios didn’t want to be outed. Way to jump on the bandwagon, Jeff. Just can’t help yourself, eh?

Mike: He put his name on his own damned site! Jeesh.
Anne: Naw, he doesn’t have the legs for it.

You were doing fine as far as suspension of disbelief until that last one.

Yes, which is why he decided to blog from the comfort of his very own 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Jeff: Ooooops!! My sincere apologies. You’re the best blogger ever. (Will kissing up help?)

Yah think anyone would give an airborn activity if I were to reveal my identity?

You mean you aren’t the tribble-killer?

I’d rather his blog remain anonymous that be filled with “I had lunch with so-and-so” and “I’ll be on CNN tonight”
