Actually, Blogger had push-button HTML and Preview, now it’s gone.
My editing panel is now worse than before.
The changes are buggy. I write my posts on Notepad–coding everything by hand–and then cc&p them into blogger. Now all my paragraph breaks disappear and there is an extra blank line inserted at the end of each post, right before the posted by line, that I can’t get rid of. Also, the links in my cc&p’d text all get screwed up, forcing me to correct each one.
That sounds like a great feature! It’d be so much better than HTML having been abandoned in favor of an object-oriented format in which links were actual live objects capable of multi-way communication with linked site(s) and listeners and the like. Next year: no more hand cranking automobiles.
