It may provide new challenges to any modern player, but it used to be a lot worse. The entire area has had to be cleared of mines in recent months and three Soviet tanks and a multiple rocket launcher have been removed.
This is just great. The continuing plight of our troops (not to mention the natives) in Afghanistan has remained all but forgotten by the media & the public. Soldiers continue to die, the Taliban is rising, freedom & democracy remains weak in that damaged country. But thank God we brought golf back! What a nice warm-fuzzy to remind us about how we “liberated” that place. It must be just a step away from being like Hilton Head!
