I doubt it, ‘cos I don’t think anyone’s watching.
(For better or worse.)
Shameful performances like the commission chair, a supposed Republican no less ( I expected as much from the Dems on the committee), calling the NYFD & NYPD actions on 9/11 not worthy of the Boy Scouts?
Just when you thought the committee couldn’t stoop any lower they fire off a zinger like that.
Truly remarkable.
Why would it cost Kerry votes to have a Republican like John Lehman take on New York officials? You’ve decended into partisan hackdom, Jeffo.
Not any more than Kerry’s statement today that he’d be open to nominating anti-abortion judges for the Supreme Court. He, of course, added nuance by saying that he wouldn’t nominate one who might change the balance toward overruling Roe v. Wade.
Did you notice the headline on Yahoo for the the AP report of Giuliani’s testimony? Families Heckle Giuliani at 9/11 Hearing
I think Jeff’s is a valid question.
You’ll find many articles lately about the Democrats’ lack of a cohesive message, in both right- and left-leaning media.
Sizing up the parties as an undecided:
-The Republicans: like them or not, you have to agree they have a message, a platform, and they’re sticking to it. If you vote for GWB, you know what you’re getting.
-The Democrats: ?????? Really, does anyone have any idea what a vote for Kerry is a vote for? If there is adminstration change, I don’t know for sure what he plans to do with the mess in the Middle East. What does he plan to do about anything!? Let’s call the Bush platform X-Y-Z. What I need as a voter is for Kerry to show be his A-B-C platform. Then I can choose. But all Kerry is doing is is saying he is notX-notY-maybeZ.
On top of that, you have these panel members embarrasing themselves and the Dem party by practically blaming the NYPD and NYFD for the 9/11 deaths, and the NYT printing anti-American BS every day, it’s VERY possible that swing voters go for GWB, seeing no clear alternative.
I don’t know how I’m going to vote yet. I may not vote for president, just my local and state people. Bush is an embarassment, but I think Kerry may no be an less of an evil, just a different kind of evil.
Ugh.
