I’m not sure if it’s a lilly pad or the head of a circumcised penis.
Somehow, I don’t think it was intended to be the latter, though. -

Definitely get that it is a lilly pad – though not sure why they would use that. I would think the “type” portion of their name would be the important part. The “pad”, not so much.
Though the other ideas in the comments are certainly more fun and creative. -

If you turn your computer upside down it looks likes a geriatric PacMan with SuperVision.
They should have put the stalk of the lily pad to the right and more parabolic. -
It looks like just what they say it is, a stylized lily pad. But then, there are days when everything looks like that.

I think it has something to do with obsolete technology. Now what was it called… Oh yeah, a typewriter. It’s a symbiotic melding of a organic lily pad and a typewriter key, I think.

It’s a lily pad, sure enough. Now the question is why a lily pad? What is usually portrayed as hanging out on top of a lily pad? Do I detect the opening salvo of a marketing blitz into… France?

Not only a dumb new logo (whoopee! who cares?), but they changed the photo upload module. Since my weblog is all photography, it makes it a total pain in the a$$ to make it look the way I want, just so they could add wordwrap functionality. They could have done that without screwing the rest up.
