The Gloved One’s entourage is a chaotic storm of confusion and unease — it lacks the dignity of other star entourages who sweep down corridors, exhibiting confidence and projecting power. Everyone in the Gloved One’s group — bodyguards, handlers, apologists — all look haggered and confused, but the haggardness and confusion looks self imposed. The group looks like it could use an adult to whack it upside the head, to tell everyone to straighten up, settle down, and then the whole damn pack wouldn’t look so silly.

    What Wonkette didn’t said was that the Gloved One is being hosted by the Congressional Black Cacaus, even though Jackson is no longer black.

    Everything has to be spun by Jeff. Nice headline: “Congress hates Stern, but loves Michael Jackson.” You should be writing headlines for Reuters! And talk about burying the lede–seems like Congress ACTUALLY blew him off–except one nutcase who you don’t identify (‘natch, she’s a wacky Dem…the very one who consistently issues paranoid accusations against Bush!) Maybe a better headline, and more accurate, would be: ‘Crazy Dem Hosts Wacky Jacko.”

    Ok, I’ll judge by the company they keep.
    Stern admitted that Al Franken was his hero, he loved his book.
    Therefore, Stern hates Christians and Republicans, loves Franken.
    Need I say more?

    Steve, surely you jest Steve ‘the Queen’ is in a league of her own. Few members are ego or media driven as her. A friend that weights around 275 was bowled over by her when he made the fatal mistake of getting between her and a camera. Also it is widely known on Capitol Hill she has one of the highest staffer turnover rates because of her demanding nature. And Lest we forget certain airlines have told her she is welcome not to frequent their airline.

    There are a couple of AP photos showing Jackson waving an Israeli flag. Best I can figure, he’s trying to distance himself from all that talk about the Nation of Islam taking him over.
    Either that, or he really, really likes flags.
