I’d check out Giordano’s… they have the best Chicago style pizza :)
Bistro Campagne.
Tapas Barcelona on Chicago in Evanston
Mustard’s Last Stand on Central in Evanston
Walker Brothers on Green Bay in Wilmette
Campagnola south of Main on Chicago in Evanston
Blind Faith (vegetarian) on Dempster in Evanston
Hecky’s (barbecue–takeout) on Emerson in Evanston
and a zillion near-by Chicago restaurants
Trio (if you can get a reservation).
Better yet, if someone else is paying for it, go for the booth in the kitchen.
Stained Glass – Evanston
Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop – Evanston
Yes, I’ve dined in the room off the kitchen in Trio–Christmas eve, four years ago. It’s quite an experience.
Another vote for Walker Brothers on Green Bay. Get the apple pancake.
