Ratings
: Jason Calacanis creates a rating scheme for blogs. I would add volume — not voluminous posts but the volume of them; I check Instapundit all the time because I know he’s constantly updating.

I was just wondering if you were going to get around to posting the denial by the “intern” since you were involved in propagating that rumour. To his credit instapundit has done so.

more on ratings, this is actually something I’m pretty interested in since I’m writing for about 10 different blogs now. Anyway, continuing this topic here:

Good points Jeff. The volume is a plus or minus depending on who is reading and the topic. Some topics are slow and don’t need a lot of posts, some topics are dynamic and need as many as possible. Volume is a mixed bag in my mind.
