Number 7, isn’t that the truth? So far I have not yet met a person that knows what a “blog” is. All of my close friends, yes, because heck, they’re on them or writing them, but any new acquaintance invariably the conversation comes around to “I was reading on so and so’s blog site…” from me, and in return “What’s a blog?” from them. My jaw then drops realizing just how much of the world is truly uninformed and desires to stay that way.

I’m with you guys; I’m sick of having to explain blogs. People invariably come away with the idea that I’m reading someone’s online diary, and seem bemused. I’m almost tempted to wear an Instapundit t-shirt just to see if I can troll some reactions. Do blog readers never leave their homes (quite likely, upon reflection) or what?
