I sent a check payable to the bearer to the Foreign Office in Israel. I then e-mailed Ayatollah Khameni and told him where he could request the money.
This is why.

Thanks, but I’ll pass on the shame – cultures built on that premise seem primitive and ineffectual to me.
Let’s speak of priorities then. For some time Iran has chosen the path of dysfunctional theocracy and hatred. Death to America! Death to the Jews!

If the culture of my leaders is corrupt (which is true), the culture of my people is clean and noble. But I don’t expect you to understand this.
I have been reading the reaction of people from different backgrounds, towards this tragedy. Although I don’t wish to generalize, it at least revealed to me, how corrupt and inhumane some are. The dirtiest reaction was from people like you. Thank you, you helped me in finding out about this.
