What I really loved about the Indian movie Lagaan, which is a sort of Rocky-style musical about underdog Indian cricketers beating the mean old British, was seeing the moviemakers pump up the suspense (quite successfully I might add) about a game that, on the face of it, appeared to be even more nonsensical than Mad Magazine’s 43-Man Squamish.
