excellent point, jeff. i think we will talk about iraq and iran. we (i’m on the program committee)have discussed a session on international politics — joi ito spoke strongly about the global impact of tech at our first meeting in november — and that should make the program.

The Bagdhad Blogger (Guardian guy) was on BBC news yesterday… the TV was trying to co-opt the whole blogging thing… lots of quick cuts of him blogging at his laptop Bom Bom Bom etc. Lots of impromptu vid shots “of real people”. All very shoot-from-the-hip.
His analysis was second-rate though, I thought.
He may have been the first, but he ain’t the best.
