    What sort of a day is it for God when one element of humanity begins wagering on when His primary servant on Earth will die….and another element opts to give such an enterprise wider publicity?

    Nor am I. Regardless of how one feels about Christianity or catholicism, it shouldn’t be too hard to recognize the value of John Paul’s Papacy.
    I’m not Hindu either, but I recognize the value of Ghandi’s life.
    /me crosses fingers and hopes that Ghandi was actually Hindu.

    I put in for Feb 2nd 2004. I think it unlikely that he’d faff off on Christmas, so I went for a minor holiday instead.
