: Can somebody explain to me how I can have 682 inbound blogs on Technorati and still not make the Top 100, where five have fewer than that? I’m getting a complex.

  • At Blogstreet, you are the 25th most influential blog, and are number 93 overall.

  • “No need to be jealous of somebody else getting airtime. What’s good for one is good for all here in this new world.”
    Heh. Sorry — I couldn’t resist. . . . :)

  • Face it- you’re a “hits junkie”. Freebasing the WWW is why you’re now on the planet. Hey, it works for me.

  • I don’t think the top 100 is real time. Is this just now, or an ongoing thing? My inbounds in my cosmos don’t generally match the number on my top 100 cosmos.

  • And you’re in my blogroll. Which is more important list. ;-p

  • Fixed. Sorry for the problem, thanks for pointing it out.

  • Don’t look at me, Jeff — from where I’m standing, you’re a healthy #50 as a Playful Primate.

  • Dave:
    I’m so relieved.
    My mother is so proud.

  • Jeff,
You seriously need to get over yourself. What kind of serious writer or journalist past the age of 25 would worry about such a thing? You have a great blog, well written and timely and you obviously know you have influence and many fans and regular readers. So do yourself a favor and stop applying Hollywood values to a more serious realm. Maybe your many years of covering the shallow world of TV have taken their toll..
