    Money…

I await photographic proof (you can post pictures with that thing, too, can’t you?).
But then I’m really going to be jealous.

Well, you are obviously not a Verizon customer since they refuse to carry the Treo.

Not cool. Just someone with too much money and not enough self-control.

*oy* Unhappy memories of my Treo. Pray you never need technical support, or drop it. Palm wants $20 to “screen out third-party software problems” (eg so they can charge you to figure out how they can turf you to somebody else), and then, after I paid my $20, they wanted $160 to fix it with no guarantee it would be fixed. Can I speak to a manager or supervisor? No, the attendant said. A $500 paperweight in six months. Sad.

Congrats…What did you use to post? How about a mini-review??

If it is so cool why is there no link to the Theo 600 web page?

I’m replying on a desk-bound 700 pound POS that belongs in a 1970’s era NORAD installation…how lame is that?
I hope I don’t run out of coal for it.

I’m thinking about getting one of them myself. Did you get the Sprint version or the other one? One of my cell phone experts at work — a guy with about 2 dozen patents — says the Sprint version has much worse battery life on account of its using CDMA instead of GSM. I’d be curious about your experience, etc.

The link to the Treo 600 is here.

OK, you’ve got the Sprint CDMA version (4 hours talk time) rather than the T-Mobile/ATT/Cingular GSM version (6 hours talk time) because the GSM version isn’t out yet. That means you have a 160×160 screen, about half the size of a Blackberry, which is good in some ways and probably not so good in others.
After you’ve played with it for a while, how about writing us a review?

Yup, the Sprint version. More speed, less battery; that’s what I hear. Sprint has better coverage for me than T-mobile and I was already on it. I’ll review it in detail in a day or two. So far, so good. Keyboard is tiny but I never did get the hang of that Palm script (any more than I ever got the hang of the Palmer Method).

I should get mine from Handspring in a week & a half. I look forward to your review.
When I got my 300, I was under the illusion, I would be able to take notes with it. But I couldn’t type fast enough (though an external keyboard would probably work).
Still, it is useful for many other things including posting to blogs. And it is basically google to go (Handspring should partner with Google to trademark that and use it as part of their marketing).
I do think the speed is more important than battery life (you can get an add-on external battery).
My hope (illusion) is that I’ll be able to listen to streaming realaudio with it (and watch decent realvideo on the next Handspring I upgade to).

I have a 600 also, and it is over the top cool. It is too bad I didn’t have an order pay to take orders to sell them, because so far everyone who sees it, wants it. Mine is the Sprint model and a loaner as I have a T-Mobile number and account. Having said that the receptiong has been better, and E-Mail much, much quicker that my T-Mobile account. The web browser is much better, and again quicker. Last but not least I use my Canon S40 to take serious pictures, but I have taken about 60 fun pictures with the Treo, something I never dreamed I would be interested in doing.
As far as I am concerned Handspring has a big winner in the 600…
