Marketing to market

I just accepted an ad for Project D.U. “presented by SBC (D.U. apparently stands for digital universe). I have no idea what the backstory is, but it looks as if SBC is marketing the site so it can then market and brand itself by being associated with blogs… which I think is a good thing (if bloggers make money, eh?). The site says it is a network of 30 bloggers with nine editors, some of them well-known bloggers, including David Hausliab of Jossip and Sarah D. Bunting of TelevisionWithoutPity. It also has an RSS reader, which has been around. It feels like a Huffington with a double-twist.
