More corporate intimidation

: Apple tries to muzzle bloggers, aka citizens, aka customers. Now GM tries to strong-arm them. Glenn Reynolds notes the blogging irony: They do this just as the company’s vice-chairman starts a (well-received and well-done) blog. Right hand, meet left hand.

  • There’s nothing ironic about it. GM must think that blogs are good for one thing (official corporate communications), but not good for another (unauthorized distribution of copyrighted photos).

  • BTW, I’m not defending or supporting their actions. Just trying to come to a possible explanation.
