LAX shut down
: TV has it; the Internet doesn’t: FoxNews and KABC are reporting an explosion at LAX. They say there were two incidents at the airport today. The airport has been shut down, at least to outgoing flights.
: CNN is saying a “flashlight with corroded batteries exploded” injuring seven people. That sounds like more than a flashlight.
When they talk about the “Tom Bradley ‘terminal – be aware that it contains the El AL gates.
I dont know why, but there seems to be a need to avoid stating the obvious. In 2002, there was a gunman – a syrian I belive who killed a group of people at the same terminal. I sstill think theres media spokesman running around saying it wasnt a case of terrorism.
I think the injuries are alleged to be just ringing ears, mostly. Still interested in what happened, but it doesn’t sound like terrorism.
Frank – EL AL doesn’t fly inter US so of course that gate is in the international termal, and the gunman in 2002 didn’t kill a group of people, he pulled a gun and was killed by EL AL security.
actually, he DID kill several people AND he was shot and killed by El Al security.
and he was egyptian.
You are right, I clicked the wrong link and didn’t read closely enough before I posted that.
Actually, it was just a flashlight.
