Throw the blog at him!
: Loic points us to LexBlog, a company that will create blogs for lawyers to use as marketing tools. Smart.
The media pundit's pundit. Written by NYC insider Jeff Jarvis, BuzzMachine covers news, media, journalism, and politics.
Interesting. I think we need blogging agencies, that sell pre-written blogs which pretty much run unattended and will accept topical blog feeds on current events. These could be personalized with an array of specific variables, interests, pet names, etc. Answering comments could be an add-on service…
The blog-dustry is yet in its infancy.
Andi – don’t pre-written, unattended blogs pretty much defeat the purpose of the medium? aren’t those just websites?
Yes, that was the point of my sarcasm.
Thanks for the mention of lexBlog. Just so that people are not confused lexBlog does not write blogs for lawyers, if you will. It just happens that when a lawyer blogs about a particular area of the law, it is helpful to supplement that content with general background information on the area of law they are blogging about.
lexBlog has licensed content from Nolo Press so that lawyers desiring core legal information like this can have it available on their blog sites.
lexBlog is the first to advise lawyers that blogs work for marketing because of the personal rapport they build with people and the way blogs enhance a lawyer’s reputation in their area of practice.
We need to do a better job on our lexBlog site explaining the role of content we license for use on a lawyer’s blog.
