In the lions’ den

In the lions’ den

: Atrios brings his link oomph to the site of blogging Democrat Nathan Rudy, who’s running for the county board in my neck of the woods, which is 99 44/100ths pure Republican.

: By the way, near as I can tell, Atrios took his name (Duncan Black) back off his site. As a friend of mine once said to a former lover: You can’t go back in the closet, honey.

Superior People do not need to live by the same rules as mere mortals. Their motives are pure and therefore all their actions are absolved from any negative consequences. The good, of course, is always credited to their Supremacy.
Humanity has always had this strain of arrogant A*****e. It must serve some useful purpose.
I wonder if the Kerry Coattails will sweep a change in both the House and Senate? Does Kerry even have any coattails?
Could that be why there were some absent faces from the Boston-Me-Party?

Did he have to list it for his DNC convention press pass or something? I don’t get it.

No big whoop. He had his name in itsy bitsy miniscule letters on the very bottom of his site. You wouldn’t have found it unless you had scrolled all the way to the bottom. He put it there a couple days before his name came out on other blogs and in the press a little. Probably so he could say he “outed” himself (not that there is anything wrong with anonymous blogging). Does it matter? What is the big deal?. It’s not like he went Hollywood or anything. His site hasn’t changed one bit in tone or quality. He turned out to be just about exactly the kind of fellow you would expect to be Atrios. Is blogging supposed to be a cult of personalities or something?

    Yeah, it’s too bad.

Ahh, so it was there all along, and no one knew! I could usually only get about half way down the page before I stopped going there all together…

Except the record companies; look at the songwriting credits. Payments go to Declan, not Elvis.

    Mr. Jarvis,
I enjoyed your participation on the C-SPAN panel.
I am contemplating a bilingual (Spanish-English) blog, in which everything woulb be done in both languages. Do you think there is a place for such a blog?
    Thank you.
