Somewhat tongue in cheek report on Makor panel.

Saw you speak last night – very impressive. Will definitely be visiting your site in the future.

Any idea how the info from the Registry will be used? I guess I’m a cynic, but I’m particulary suspicious of data drawn from any self-selected sample.
    Best regards.

This WTC Health Registry seems like a fish tank for the government to watch how the fish die.
They’re not offering actual assistance to all the people affected by 9/11.
The EPA, as well as the city and state government all denied that the air downtown was toxic in the weeks and months following 9/11, while so many people were complaining of breathing problems and headaches.
Now they want to monitor us for years to find out what we already know: asbestos is bad for you. So is burnt plastic and every other chemical that saturated our homes that day.

    It’s a conspiracy, Kevin. It’s all a conspiracy.
The government’s out to hurt you. There. Somebody told you.
Would you rather they sat back and tracked nothing?
Or do you want the G-men to come over and wash your pee-pee for you everytime something goes wrong in your life?

I’m sure some new, wonderful taxpayer-supported program will eventually come out of this.

Well, maybe that’s how some people feel about it, but being that I spent entirely too much time in smoke and ash and proceeded to work two and a half blocks away for the next year, I’d say I’d be interested to know if there’s some sort of pattern or similarity between health results of others who were in the same situation.
