: Another Canadian media note:
The lead story on radio through the day here was President Bill Clinton’s book signing in Toronto. Thousands starting lining up yesterday afternoon for this morning’s signing. They love him.
They love him.
I don’t know which makes me want to wretch more. That some Canadians love Slick Willy or that some Canadians love Dubya.
I think most Canadians hate Bush. We are so lucky that he is such a strong international leader.
Most Canadians hate Bush and are under the impression that Clinton, who supports the Iraq war but won’t say so much in front of lefty audiences, is the anti-Bush. Simple as that.
Of course some Canadians also had a problem with a puppet from a late night show after welcoming said show with open arms.
You missed it entirely. It has nothing to do with Bush. Clinton is everything Jean Cretian was not (at least by apperance).
