All around Ground Zero
: Jook Leung took a 360-degree panorama of the setting of the Freedom Tower cornerstone at Ground Zero, posted by Hans Nyberg.
The cornerstone reads:
“To honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and as a tribute to the enduring spirit of freedom,” the cornerstone says. “July Fourth 2004.”
Wow! Way cool!
I would have liked to see “murdered” instead of “lost thier lives”. They weren’t killed in combant nor perished in an airliner crash…they were murdered deliberately and precisely.
Yeah, james, becuase we can’t let a memorial just be a memorial….instead it needs to be a political statement.
James has a good point.
