The French and the Algerians found a way to stop this. Course, it won’t be neat and tidy. American Lawyers wouldn’t like it. America TV crews would not be allowed to watch.
Elect Kerry and he’ll fund the Foreign Legion. No muss, no fuss, no embarassing TV, no digital pictures, no interviews, no lawyers. People and problems will vanish. Spare everyone the ‘glass parking lot’ rants. The people of Iraq did not do this – religious zealots did. Killing 200,000 innocents to spite 1,500 animals is a pathetically knee-jerk reaction.
I, for one, subscribe seriously to the implantation of GPS chips in all civilian personnel who may be suseptable to this type of capture and killing. We could locate them instantly and cheaply. Otherwise, I’d suggest them to be armed, capable and ready to quite literally fight for their lives.
I don’t know about ya’ll, but I’d rather die in a shootout trying to escape than sit there waiting for the knife. I saw the one video and it’s imagery and sounds haunt me to this day. I can only pray these folks never saw what happened to Nicholas Berg as that would only increase the anticipretory horror ten-fold.

There was a march in Patterson NJ ,organized by muslims to protest the beheading of Paul Johnson. NJ has a HUGE muslim population.
24 people showed up. The rest must have condoned the killing with their silence. Bunch of stinking cowards hiding behind veils and checkered cloths. Sickening scum. Don’t give me anymore of this it isn’t islamic shit. It is islamic, it’s barbaric, and I am sick of the cowardly maggots. -

It really is such a stupid attitude. If white nazis kill a black dude, is it incumbent on me to go out, protest, march up and down, begging for forgiveness from the black race? Or is it assumed by most that these are extreme fringes and do not reflect the majority of white opinion?

You’re also a moron who is playing right into the hands of the terrorists. What many of you don’t realize is that these are not stupid people as you’d like to think they are. Many of AQ’s leaders attended some of the finest schools in the world. They are smart enough to realize that their demands will not be met and that these acts themselves will not work to force coalition forces out of Iraq.
So you have to ask yourself why are they committing seemingly idiotic acts. And the most likely answer is to make you react just as you are. They want to provoke you into hating all Arabs. They want to provoke the coalition into making revenge strikes that will more often than not result in the deaths of innocents. This in turn will generate even more hatred against the coalition by the average Iraqis and will serve as the perfect recruiting tool for the terrorists.
In short, they want this conflict to be dragged down to their level–one of pure blind hatred for the enemy. And when that happens–we’ve already seen it in the case of Abu Ghraib–they win because everything the western democracies claim to stand for will be lost in the gutter of rage without reason. -

When white racists do show up (the KKK or neo-nazis), they are invariably met by large crowds of white non-racists, counter protesting.

Iraqi Leader Threatened
BAGHDAD (June 23) — A recording purportedly made by the mastermind of bombings and beheadings in Iraq threatened to assassinate Iraq’s interim prime minister and fight the Americans ”until Islamic rule is back on Earth.”
The audio, found Wednesday on an Islamic Web site, is supposedly from Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the same Jordanian-born terrorist whose group claimed responsibility for the beheading of of American hostage Nicholas Berg and Kim Sun-il, a South Korean whose decapitated body was found Tuesday evening between Baghdad and Fallujah. -
