: I smell a trend: This weekend, I linked to a report that ex-VC Andrew Anker is now a corp dev exec at SixApart. Now The Times reports that Steve Harmon, an ex-VC, is joining LiveDeal as a corp dev exec.
So VCs are finally getting real jobs.
If you consider VP of corp dev a real job….
I met Andrew Anker about a month ago in London at Loic Le Meur’s wee blog party. Really smart, engaging fellow, I thought. Seriously, I had a lot of time for the guy.
Andrew is a smart and nice guy. I assume you all know that I simply couldn’t avoid a straight line. Even VCs like a good VC joke (I hope!).
Hey… ex-VCs *really* like that joke. We’re sort of like ex-smokers.
