I see that the Thailanders are smart enough to go into the mosques where the terrorists hang out and hide and plan their killing sprees.

Well, at least we know that muslim leaders have explained that it was drugs and not the Koran motivating these imbeciles. At the same time, muslim leaders have reprimanded the police for killing the muslims and not just quietly dying themselves(well, getting machetied to death) so as not to affect the feelings of muslims in a bad way–they may blow up some things now!{Islamic leaders said they feared Wednesday

A word on the Thai’s — just back from there.
These folks are non-violent in nature (think the Golden Rule.) Like very. Not as good at this shooting stuff as we are.
That said, they sure seem to know how to get the job done (Maybe Buddha has an angle on this stuff that Rhummy should check out……)

Oh, I know the Buddhists are not violent, or wanting muslim oil, or wanting to Buddahlize the muslims, or imposing policies muslims don’t like(other than being Buddhists), or wanting to occupy muslim land. I know that the muslims want to turn the place into another muslim shithole. The word virus aptly describes this disease in the world.

Don’t forget that a virus is a byproduct of the original host organism.

This is not new in Thailand. In fact, it’s been a big problem for decades. Muslim seperatists are funded and organized via Malaysia and have been making cross-border incursions, creating terror and generally demanding an independent state for a long time.
Traditionally, the target has been the police. However, with a little bit of the “right” influence, we may see the next Bali-style attack take place on Thai soil, where Western beach-goers are quite plentiful.
I hope I’m wrong and that the Thais are better at shutting this sort of thing down than most other nations, but the outlook is not much better for Thailand than anyone else.
In January of 2004, martial law was declared throughout Southern Thailand in response to the bombing death of two policemen, and does anyone else remember the buddhist monk murders a few months back? This sort of low-level mayhem has been going on since before 9/11, so I think to say that the virus just spread is a bit inaccurate.
It’s just that this time, the police decided to make the perpetrators dead.

Factor in the disappearance of Muslim Human human rights lawyer Somchai Neelaphaijit.

[his colleagues fear]he may have become a target for kidnapping after a speech in late February, in which he accused southern security authorities of using torture, including electric shock and beatings, to gain confessions

    Dirty war, here we come.

The virus has a new state in Nigeria. Just watch those churches go up in flames–will the leftists blame Bush and a handful of muslims? After all islam is a religion of peace. Poor oppressed little murderers–people keep fighting back and they and the leftists get upset.
