The people meet power
: A few days ago, I suggested that bloggers should be invited to Pres press conferences. It may happen in the U.K. sooner than it happens here. Tom Watson, MP, likes the idea.

I’ve used blogging credentials to get into several conferences via a press pass so I can’t imagine it’s going to be too much longer before that starts spilling over to press conferences and other events. Once that starts happening going to Presidential ones is right around the corner.

Just don’t let the general ethos of lazy thinking contaminate you, guys. And don’t join the parliamentary lobby, or you’ll have to decommission your blogging weapons: independence, exposure and awkward questions.
