Peanut gallery

Peanut gallery
: Ross Mayfield is putting up SocialText eventspace for PC Forum and it’s open to all of us. You don’t have to pay the admission fee (but you also don’t get the nice Arizona weather) and still join in.

During the Mediamorphisis confab, I quite enjoyed joining in from the peanut gallery, on their blog and mine (seeing whether I could start a meme or get mentioned there). PC Forum is the big time.

    *seriously*
    From Stowe Boyd’s blog:
The Economist on Blogging in the Enterprise
I saw that the Economist looked closely at Socialtext’s Wiki/Blog fusion technology in the recent Blogging Goes To Work [premium content requires subscription].
I also saw this article in the Economist. It lends get credibility toward a business model for blogging.
I wouldn’t waste my time, energy or money going to ANY blogging conference or meetup whatever unless there was a sure probability that I could close a deal.
No matter what you think of Stern, if he were to create a blog tomorrow, he could clean up with advertising as well as change the landscape of blogging. It would be even bigger than the Dean Space thing.
Judging from how Stern talks about tech, he doesn’t know squat. Somebody’s gotta wake this guy up. I know he reads this blog, so he should take the hint already.
