Organized
: I’m disorganized. So I like things that organize me. Yesterday, I started testing OnFolio to save web pages and more (so far so good). Today, Steve Outing sents us to another tool, NetSnippets. Damn. Now I need an organizational tool for my organizational tools.

Yes, you will need an organizer to organize your orhanizers. Here’s another: Furl It (furlit.com). Basically, it saves, organizes and shares your online destinations. It’s free.

ContentSaver Pro (http://www.macropool.com/en/) is a way better then Onfolio and NetSnippets.

I used to “Clip and Save” like with a scissors, so I started a folder on my computer called: Clip and Save.

One more to stress you: Cogitum (http://www.cogitum.com)
Oh! It is free! :-)

Now, is there any tool like Onfolio for a real browser (Mozilla, Firebird, etc.)? Going back to IE to use Onfolio is like going to a Ford Escort after a Lexus.

Other furl.net pluses: your clippings can be exported as an RSS feed. You can see what other people are clipping (if they permit), and which articles are most popular. Because everything sits on Furl’s servers, your filing cabinet is available from any browser. The interfaces are admirably streamlined. Finally, “furl” is one of the cleverest app names I’ve come across. (Disclosure: Furl’s creator is a friend.)

charmtrap – As for tools for “real” browsers, Furl ( http://www.furl.net ) is a great alternative there as well. It is fully functional in Mozilla/Firebird.

With Net Snippets latest version I create HTML reports of all relevant info I grabbed from the net with one click of the mouse. No need to download the 30 mb copy of Net Snippets that Onfolio really is.
Content Saver and furl just miss a lot of features that make Net Snippets the tool of choice for online information management.
