I was walking down the street here in Boston one afternoon, last fall maybe, and overheard (ok, well heard, it was out there for god & everyone to listen to) a girl having a conversation on a push-to-talk phone:
Friend: What are you doing this afternoon?
Girl: I don’t know…I’m either going to go to the gym, or figure out what I’m doing with my life.
Reminds me of Lewis Black’s infamous: “If it wasn’t for my horse, I wouldn’t have spent that year in college.” Makes my head hurt. ouch.
