Sacrilege
: Good Bill Maher line on his show tonight: “Lethal Weapon VI, otherwise known as The Passion of the Christ.”

I don’t think he has the right to judge something he hasn’t seen yet. I find it a bit discriminatory. It’s the same as assuming something bad when you’re walking in a alley late at night and a black man walks up behind you.

It’s a joke, ferchrissakes.

I hope this movie does not cause hard feelings. I am really looking forward to seeing it.
I read this tonight–from a rabbi discussing this. Good read.

better line from Jason alexander that if the new adama sandler movie outgrosses the passion of christ they’ll blame it on the jew, again.

I don’t know about this blame the Jew thing–as a Christian I do not blame Jews for anything. Jew blame is more a muslim mantra.

I don’t get it really they been telling this story every Easter.I never blamed a jew ever for his death it was pre-ordain it was going to happen regardless.

Plenty of offensive entertainment coming out of Hollywood studios without comment from some selectively sensitive souls. Yet, this particular movie is deemed too offensive to be shown. Consistency would be nice for a change.

I haven’t seen the movie, of course; it’s Gibson’s self-righteousness and the manipulation and commercialization of religious sentiment that I’m objecting to right now.
