So , Mr. “you’re not Gen Franks, get me someone important to brief me “(re his encounter with
Gen, Vincent Brooks)and “Al Jazeera & the BBC
have the real Iraq War story” has decamped to
Graydon Carter’s illustrated Krugman file. Well
it fits doesn’t it, with Tanenhaus’s editing
of Wolfowitz, with Craig Unger, who was found
to have invented his Esquire October Surprise
story, yet suffered no sanction but now retails a tale, that Snopes has debunked. Only Hitchens and David Rose, really have any purchase in that publication
any value in that publication
But Jeff, you’re really not the right guy for the job. After all, Wolff was brave enough to complain that Brigadier General Vincent Brooks was a calm and reassuring figure on TV in those CentCom briefings but just did nothing exciting enough for the journalists there. After all, it isn’t about the war, or even providing information to the American people, it is about presentation and whether Mr. Wolff was properly entertained.
He’ll fit in perfectly over at Vanity Fair, which seems to be twisting itself into a pretzel every month to slam the current Administration. Doesn’t that magazine get that they’re so September 10th?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
