Give the man credit, it’s actually a pretty good blog. I can see thousands of NYU film student-types logging in every day, getting the latest.
I’m still a bit iffy about Weblogsinc. But to be fair, it’s still early days and the whole commercial blog market is still in its infancy.
I think the market for blogvertising will rise, and Weblogsinc will rise along with it… however it might take a while. I hope Jason is playing a long-ish game.
The one thing I don’t get, however, is Radar Magazine. People think there were so many cool, indie mags in the 90s because there was a lot of cool, indie people around. Actually, the reason was Phillip Morris and RJ Reynolds were willing to subsidize them with heavy ad spending. But then the Feds came along and put an end to all that.
You think a snowboard company is going to throw around the same kind of money in Phillip Morris’ place? Uh, no.
