take it easy on the “snark”… -
Oh. I thought you meant Howard Dean.

I absolutely agree that the alert system is not to be laughed at and I’m glad Dean blogged on this point. But at first I thought you meant Howard Dean, and I was thinking, “man, do I have to go back to respecting Howard Dean again?” I was a bit thrown.

Yehudit: I think they call that synchronicity (look at the time stamps on our comments)

Geez, I thought it was Howard Dean too. It sounded very responsible.

I’m more mad at the news channels, quite frankly, and even more so at myself for watching them. The way Rita Cosby was talking breathlessly about imminent attacks, you would think her source was Osama himself. The alert serves its purpose, but whipping up the public into a hysteria over this is irresponsible.
I have to fly home this holiday, which sucks, but I’m trying to stay positive and not imagine my fiery demise. Why the country won’t use Israeli-style profiling is beyond me. Lives matter more than hurt feelings. -
threat level is orange there? here in Iran it is red all the time and who cares? I ask Mr. Mofaz not to attack us! hope he will listen to me
