A quick office poll for you. We are usually 24 in here but today it’s 19. All 19 were in lower Manhattan that day, 5 of us live down here. Everyone in here had pneumonia within 6 months of 9/11. 7 didn’t work here at the time. Everyone says their heart flutters at odd times. ( to keep it accurate, the flutter may have something to do with our espresso machine) 4 people still have a ringing in their ears that comes and goes. 2 people are on antidepressants. 3 flat out refuse to sit near a window. And lastly in true NY style whenever we hear a plane overhead we look up.
