The U.S. Blogging Service

The U.S. Blogging Service
: Dave writes that blogs will be like mail servers; they’ll be everywhere serving many publishing needs.

Yes, and they’ll also expand to store and serve (that is, publish and broadcast) many more types of information and content: video, audio, presentations, data, shopping lists, spreadsheets, forms, tests, conversations, photos, songs, sermons, lessons…

Weblogs are about more than publishing. They are about storing, organizing, and presenting our thoughts and our digital stuff for ourselves, our groups, our world.

Hey, Jeff, I linked the Messopotmanian too, incredibly moving stuff as I see you agree.
Which reminds me, I’ve been taking some guff of late (from you, among others, but very mildly) because I stuck my neck out by saying I’d vote for Bush over the 9 Dems presently running. Well, it wasn’t easy because I spent my life far (I mean FAR) to the left of any of the Democrats. I’m the guy still with tears in his eyes when he hears THe Internationale. But I read something like The Messopotomanian I understand what the real fight is and I’ll be goddamned if I’ll lend my support to those self-serving assholes looking to nitpick a war for their own advantage. We’re in the biggest and most important battle since Midway here and at least Bush seems to know it. The Democrats have gone to sleep.
