Mr. Whineypants, the sequel

Mr. Whineypants, the sequel
: Chicago Magazine writes a paean — well, more of a eulogy — for the self-centered, whiney bozo Chicago Tribune columnist who killed his own column because it was moved inside the business section. Turns out the paper moved it inside because two rounds of research showed that readers want news in the newspaper. Shocking, eh? The magazine then issues the predictable whine about listening to research. It sounds to me as if they did what they’re supposed to do: listen to their audience.

I have a suggestion for Mr. Whineypants: Start a blog and then you’ll see whether people really want to read you.
