: Americans reported to be involved in attacks on Americans in Iraq:
Six people claiming to be Americans and two who say they are British are in US custody on suspicion of involvement in attacks on coalition forces, an American general said on Tuesday. It marked the first report of the possible involvement of Westerners in the insurrection against the US-led occupation.
Canada.com has a quote from Rummy. They may not be American.

Oh, I bet they’d wished we’d shipped them to Gitmo. The locals officials probably want a shot at wacking them as well.
It doesn’t surprise me there are a few Jane Fonda’s out there.
Paging Mike Ta’ibi…
He’s in Kabul right now, but I wish he’d investigate this story. Who are they? Are they really Americans or just pretending? And what’s their story, morning glory?
They probably think only Aljazeera and Al-arabia SAT TV stations have crack Arab investigative journalists… Surprise, surprise!!
This might be Mike’s chance to grab the fickle finger brass ring and win a prize.
I gotta tell you, news from Pakistan is less than reliable.
I read many of the Pak news sources during the Afghan conflict and every article had misinformation is it…seriously misinformation. In fact, one might call them outright lies.
