A simple request
: A simple request to the wonderful group blogs I read (you know who you are, Corante and Hit & Run and Command Post and Harry): Put the name of the post’s author at the top of the post so I can hear the right voice as I start to read. Also, put your authors’ names in the RSS feed. Thank you.

I agree. That’s the way it should be, for the same reason an author’s byline appears at the top of an article rather than at the bottom.

I think it’s a great suggestion that I really should have considered earlier.
Your wish is my Command (Post).

Of course, the gang at Samizdata has always done it that way.

If any of you need help setting up Movable Type to include author names, please let me know and I can send along the template you need for the feed or can give you tips on including the info on your site.

Jeff, Michele is right … great idea. We’ve had our Op/Ed page in this format for some time, and I’ve just changed all the others. RSS change to come …
