Here comes the parade

I hope the parade happens. In fact, I’d be shocked if it didn’t. Once plans are in place, I hope as many people show up to show their thanks to this country’s armed forces as showed up to show their disapproval with their mission.

I’d like to see several parades: one through Manhattan to the site of the WTC, one from the Pentagon to Arlington National Cemetery, one from “downtown” Shanksville, PA to the site of the crash of Flight 93, and smaller ones to the gravesites of veterans killed in Iraq, to lay wreathes and to let the friends of foes of America know — we remember.
