Video: Cheerleaders, cheerleaders, cheerleaders!
: I’m so proud. Experiments with vlogging have yielded a wonderful example of what this can do at a very local level: OregonLive (one of my day-job sites) under the guidance of its editor, Kevin Cosgrove (a professional broadcaster, unlike me), took the tools and put them to good use covering the state cheerleading championships (no jokes now!) with a college student as our correspondent. It works well because, of course, this subject demands video but also because by packaging that video, it’s a lot more compelling than just watching clip after clip. Watch for more of this soon.
