On the other side
: Something good came of the snowstorm: I ended up on the train with Joe Trippi, hearing great stories and plotting new worlds. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ten hours after dashing out of Cambridge, I’m at home. Train delayed for an hour and a half with a bridge over the Mystic River (not a happy place, it seems) that had to be hand-cranked down. Trains canceled out of Newark. Newark Airport’s frequently worthless monorail shut down. Great Port Authority cop brings order to chaos. Buses with mostly nice people and a few jerks get me to the car. Blechy roads with jerks driving mostly Fords. But I’m home. Hugs. Fireplace. Soup. Wine. Home is good.
