Tina the obscure

Tina the obscure
: Drudge says that Tina Brown’s CNBC show got a tiny rating and only 65,000 households in the audience. Compare that with Glenn Reynolds’ stats: an average of well over 100,000 visits a day (almost double that at a peak).

OK, his accent’s not as cool; neither is his haircut; ditto his wardrobe.

But Glenn Reynolds is a bigger media beast than Tina Brown.

  • Heck, I didn’t even know Tina had show, and I am a cable-news junkie.

  • Catherine

Don’t diss Glenn, Jeff. You should be so good looking and well dressed! I think Glenn is HOT. I love him for his mind. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

  • Poot Rootbeer

This tends to support my theory that the only people who care what Tina Brown is doing are other people in the media industry.

  • Frankly, I’m impressed that Gawker was able to get 65,000 people to watch Tina’s show.

  • I really liked Tina’s show. Did any of you bashers actually watch it? She had Simon Schama on to discuss the historical implications of this most recent WOT battle in Iraq, among other guests. Impressive. If they cancel her I will personally call and bitch them out.
